students were given awards of INR 3,000 (US$43 \/ \u00a335) each as token of appreciation and their paintings have been uploaded onto Lha\u2019s official Facebook page.<\/p>\n<p><a competition was sponsored by Michael Buckley who is an environmentalist and the author of <em>Meltdown in Tibet<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the drawing competition, <a href=\"https:\/\/tibetnature.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/64220720_2203653623022223_8044049166415953920_n-copy.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2616\" src=\"https:\/\/tibetnature.net\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/64220720_2203653623022223_8044049166415953920_n-copy.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"460\" height=\"610\" organised a special mass cleanup where we were joined by volunteers, students and Lha staff, all working together to collect trash from the TCV road end of Mcleod
