Cleanup Drive-Celebration of India’s Independence Day

On 15^th August, 2018, India’s Independence Day Lha Charitable Trust joined The Waste Warriors-Dharamsala for their clean-up drive themed “Freedom From Littering”.  Lha highly appreciates those students who have taken out time for the activity and selflessly helped us to pick up garbage on the day. 

The clean up drive was a part of the celebration of India’s Independence Day aimed to make Dharamsala a clean place to live in and free from garbage.

Lha organizes clean-up activity once every month.

Though the cleanup drive may not make huge difference when it comes to protection of environment and the cleanliness of the surroundings but through this programme, we really hope to inspire, encourage and set an example to be mindful for protection and cleanliness of environment. We try to act as agent of reminders for everyone to shoulder responsibility to keep our mother earth green so that everyone of us can breathe fresh air and live healthier life.
